About Koili Point

Koili Point is on its way to being the #1 accommodation on the East side of the Big Island of Hawaii. Our private 2 bedroom homes feature TOTO washlets, ensuite master baths, hardwood bedframes, and organic cotton mattresses and sheets.

We are 100% solar powered and our goal is to help guests become more aware of their natural surroundings.

With more than 80 coconut trees and maturing fruit trees, guests have access to non-pesticide, non-herbicide fruits on the property.

Koili Point is oceanfront on a bluff and as such, guests are reminded to maintain a strong respect for nature.

Guests have very much enjoyed the private resort style pool and hot tub.

Environmental Commitment

100% solar power shows the commitment we have towards the land and ocean around us. AC runs during the day and then in the early evening, will power down until mid-morning ensuring the rest of the house has plenty of power for fans, devices, etc.. We also have a 22kw Generac as backup in case of tropical events that reduce sunlight.

We have free wifi, free parking, and a free washer and dryer. We also provide a welcome gift of Hawaiian coffee to enjoy!

We are a 7 minute drive to Hilo and a 15 min walk to the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Gardens and Hawaii Plantation Museum.

Koili Point is less than 1/4 mile from the 4 mile Scenic Drive route and close to Akaka Falls, Rainbow Falls and historic downtown Hilo Farmer's Market.

Our goal is to be the top accommodation on the East side of the Island and we are committed to making your stay in Hawaii a memorable one!
